"The production of the 'Voices of Mount Callan' CD has to rate as one of the highlights in the annals of history of St. Flannan’s National School. For the children it was an unforgettable experience of music, self-esteem development and fun. For the teachers it was a hands-on mentoring of how to implement the revised Music curriculum as all strands were featured. For me, as Principal of the school, it was one of those projects that had a 'Wow Factor' and the main highlights were the participation of every child from infants to 6th class using their musical and artistic ability, inclusion of our children with specific special needs, the pride and amazement of the community at the CD launch and the ease of the whole production was incredible and due to the total professionalism of Jim and Máiréad of Callan Studios.
